First Camp Bud – Hustadvika is located right by the sea on Norway’s west coast, surrounded by the spectacular coastal scenery of Møre og Romsdal. Here, the sea is always close by, with fantastic opportunities for sea fishing and easy access to the spectacular Atlantic Ocean Road. Whether you arrive by motorhome, caravan or tent, or prefer the comfort of a cabin, our campsite in Bud is the perfect base for exploring Hustadvika and the Norwegian coast all year round.

For many visitors, fishing is one of the main reasons to travel to Bud. The area is renowned for its excellent sea fishing, with great opportunities to catch fish both from a boat and from shore. At the campsite, you can rent a boat and head out on your own or join a guided fishing trip with an experienced guide who knows the best fishing spots. There is also a fishing shop offering equipment for sea fishing, so you’ll find everything you need for a successful fishing holiday in Norway.

Several of our cabins in Bud are located right by the water and offer panoramic views of the sea and impressive Hustadvika. If you prefer camping, there are pitches for motorhomes and caravans as well as tent pitches close to nature. After a day at sea or exploring the sights along the coast, simply sit back, enjoy the view and watch the weather, waves and light transform the coastal landscape.

Bud is also a perfect stop for anyone wanting to experience the Atlantic Ocean Road. The famous coastal route is just a short drive from the campsite, making Bud a natural place to begin or end your journey along Atlanterhavsvegen. From here, you’re also close to beautiful hiking trails, coastal landscapes, small islands and many more outdoor experiences in Møre og Romsdal.

Opening hours
First Camp Bud is open all year round. Reception opening hours vary depending on the season.

WiFi
As a guest, you have access to free WiFi at the campsite. Please note that the connection may be slower when there are many guests staying with us.

Shop
The campsite shop offers fishing equipment, basic equipment for caravans and motorhomes, as well as ice cream, soft drinks and coffee.

Service facilities
The service facilities are located in the reception building and include toilets, separate shower cubicles and an accessible toilet with a shower. Baby changing facilities are also available in both the men’s and women’s toilets. In the middle of the campsite, you’ll also find a communal kitchen with a stove, cooking hobs, a refrigerator, sinks and worktops.

Freezer room for fish
Had a successful fishing trip? The campsite has a separate freezer room with six large freezers where you can store your catch.

Laundry
Need to do some laundry during your stay? A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in the service building.

Outdoor area
Outside the main building, you’ll find a large terrace and barbecues that our guests are welcome to use. There is also a playground for younger guests.

Distances
Bud is approximately 40 km from Molde, 60 km from Kristiansund, 88 km from Åndalsnes and 119 km from Ålesund. Shops and restaurants in the centre of Bud are within walking distance of the campsite. From Easter until the end of August, some shops are also open on Sundays.

Fire and safety
The safety of our guests is important to us. Fire extinguishing equipment is available around the campsite, and all cabins have their own fire extinguishing equipment and fire safety information. Please familiarise yourself with this information when you arrive.
