Fishing shop
At the reception at First Camp Bud, you’ll find our fishing shop, offering a great selection from well-known brands and equipment for both sea fishing and fishing from shore. The range includes fishing rods, lures, rigs, hooks, jigs, shads, pilkers and much more.
You don’t have to go far to try your luck either. Many of our guests fish from the pier or find a spot on the rocks, and along the Atlantic Ocean Road you can also try fishing from the dedicated fishing bridges.
Even the youngest guests can join in the fun. Crab fishing from the jetty is a simple and exciting activity that can quickly become one of the highlights of the holiday. The shop also offers equipment for children, including small fishing rods, nets, buckets and crab fishing equipment.
Sea fishing at Hustadvika
In Bud, great fishing is never far away. Try your luck from the pier, find a good spot on the rocks or head out to sea by boat and experience fishing along Hustadvika. At First Camp Bud, you’ll find fishing equipment for both adults and children – whether you’re heading out for sea fishing or simply want to cast a line from shore.
Sustainability and responsible fishing
We want future generations to be able to enjoy great fishing experiences along the Møre coast too. As a registered tourist fishing business, we comply with current regulations, report catches and provide our guests with the necessary information. We can also help with the required documentation if you wish to take fish out of Norway, and we practise catch and release for vulnerable fish species.
