Mörudden – Hammarö

Cosy First Camp Mörudden – Hammarö, located right on the shores of Lake Vänern, offers holiday accommodation in a beautiful archipelago setting. The combination of stunning, untouched nature, numerous lovely beaches, and the close proximity to charming Karlstad is unbeatable – it’s no wonder so many guests return here year after year. On site, you’ll also find amenities such as a café, kiosk, and convenience store, as well as the popular restaurant Möruddens Bistro, well known for its delicious, well-prepared food.

 

Hammarö boasts several nature reserves with wonderful trails for relaxing walks. There are also plenty of great bathing spots, from sandy beaches to rocky shores, making it something of a paradise for those who enjoy fishing, surfing, and other water sports. In winter, it’s instead popular to take walks or try ice fishing on the frozen lake. Karlstad, with its shopping, culture, and entertainment, is just 9 kilometres away and easily reached by both car and public transport.

Waste
At First Camp we actively work for a better environment, and we hope that you as a guest do the same. At our waste stations we sort, among other things, plastic, aluminium, glass, cardboard and newspapers. Instructions are available at each station.

 

Barriers
Open the barrier with the access card you received at check-in.

 

Bus connections
The bus stops 500 meters from the campsite. A timetable is available at the reception.

 

Defibrillator
A defibrillator is available at the reception.

 

Kiosk
The service kiosk is open during the spring and summer season. It is stocked up gradually during spring to be able to offer the full assortment in the summer season.

 

Service card
At check-in you will receive an access/service card. These can be topped up with money and used for e.g. washing machines (showers are free).

 

Dumping station
The latrine disposal is located by the service building/waste station.

 

WIFI
WIFI is available in limited parts of the area.

 

Opening hours
First Camp Mörudden – Hammarö is open all year round. Other facilities such as the restaurant and shop have varying opening hours depending on the season.
