<p>Just a bike ride of 5 miles (8 km) along the river Klarälven leads you directly into the centre of Karlstad, where nice restaurants and great shopping awaits you. If you do not want to cycle, take the bus or something that is unique to Karlstad, one of båtbussar (small ferries). A great finish to a day of shopping can also be an evening cruise on Lake Vänern with good drinks and food.</p>
