Solvik – Kungshamn

Not many things compare to the sea view from First Camp Solvik – Kungshamn. Here you camp royally with Bohuslän and Best Coast at your feet. It’s easy to relax – wake up to the smell of freshly baked bread from the shop and enjoy the family-friendly seaside (700m from the campsite). Play adventure golf with the family, and let the kids romp around at the playground.

When it’s time for new experiences, you will find a range of exciting things to do outside the facility. Go on a safari, crab fishing or maybe even a deep-sea fishing trip. Do you feel like shopping, good food and drinks? The legendary and lively Smögen jetty with its lovely party atmosphere is not far away. Summer is one long jetty party.

Welcome to the Best Coast!

Here you’ll find practical information that may be useful to know about our destination. How do the entrance barriers work, where is the waste disposal station, or where’s the nearest defibrillator? You’ll also find our general campsite rules here, which apply to all guests to help make everyone’s stay as enjoyable as possible!

Service buildings
We have three service buildings at the campsite.

Waste
At First Camp we actively work toward a better environment and hope you as a guest will do the same. At our waste stations we sort items such as plastic, aluminium, glass, cardboard, and newspapers. Instructions are posted at each station.

Barriers
The barrier opens automatically when exiting. It closes in the evening for incoming traffic. Camping guests receive the barrier code at check-in.

Bus connections
Bus line 862 stops just outside the campsite, providing easy access to Smögen, Kungshamn, and Hunnebostrand in just a few minutes. Timetables are available at vasttrafik.se, and the app is called “To Go”.

Shop
The service shop is open during the spring and summer season. It is gradually stocked during spring to offer a full selection in the summer.

Defibrillator
A defibrillator is located in a red/black cabinet on the outside wall of the reception building (by the door to the kids’ club).

Waste disposal station
Available at each service building. For fixed tanks, there are separate stations near the motorhome area and at service building 1.

Opening hours
First Camp Solvik – Kungshamn is open year-round. Other facilities such as the restaurant and kiosk have varying hours depending on the season.
