Skutberget – Karlstad

Our campsite is located in the beautiful area of Skutberget in Karlstad. Only ten minutes from Karlstad City is First Camp Skutberget – Karlstad, where you can stay in a scenic setting on the beautiful shore of Lake Vänern.

 

On this campsite, adventure is never far away, and you’ll find activities for both young and old campers. Play beach volleyball, challenge your friends to disc golf, play miniature golf on our competitive adventure golf course or jog along the exercise trails in the area. Our bright and popular bistro serves summer lunch and dinner, and the service shop sells freshly baked bread every morning.

 

Ten minutes away by bus, car, or bicycle is Karlstad’s wide variety of restaurants, shopping, and excursions. Did you know that Karlstad is known as the coffee-smelling summer city with loads of festivals, boat buses, and a stunning archipelago with plenty of islands to visit?

At Skutberget, there are 4 charging stations for electric cars with 11 kW and Type 2 sockets. We do not have the ability to accept payment at the reception, and it is also not possible to pre-book a charging spot. Charging and payment are done through the InCharge app.
