City – Strömstad

First Camp City – Strömstad is quiet and close to nature in an authentic Bohuslän environment with proximity to the sea. Here you can relax and really enjoy your holiday. The campsite is located in a wonderfully hilly environment on a mountain, where each pitch is unique with great views. At our campsite you can camp with your motorhome, caravan or tent in a beautiful environment and fantastic views. The pitches are flat, several of which are paved. Needless to say, this campsite is really popular with campers in motorhomes.

 

Here you are also close to Strömstad city center which has a large selection of both shopping, restaurants and various activities. Another popular excursion is to the Koster Islands outside Strömstad, where you take ferries during the day.

Waste
At First Camp, we work actively for a better environment and hope that you as a guest do the same. At our waste stations, we sort items such as plastic, aluminium, glass, cardboard and newspapers. Instructions are available at each station.

 

Barriers
Open the barrier using the access cards you received at check-in.

 

Bus connections
The nearest proper bus stop is the central station, about 1.2 km away. There is also a bus station where the P-buses depart in summer, about 600 m away.

 

Shop
The shop is open during the spring and summer season. It is gradually stocked throughout spring to offer a full range during the summer season.

 

EV charging
At City – Strömstad there are 4 charging stations for electric cars with 11 kW and type 2 outlets. We are not able to take payment at reception, and it is not possible to pre-book a charging spot. Charging and payment are done via the InCharge app.

 

Defibrillator
A defibrillator is located in service building 1, between the doors to the kitchen and the laundry room.

 

Service card
At check-in you receive an access/service card. The cards can be topped up and used for e.g. washing machines (showers are free).

WIFI
WIFI is available in limited parts of the area.

 

Age limit
Between 19-22 June 2025, everyone in the party must be at least 25 years old to book and stay with us. Outside of this week, all guests must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by a guardian. Valid ID must be shown upon request.

 

Opening hours
First Camp City – Strömstad is open all year round.
