The Koster Islands
What makes the Koster Islands unique is their proximity to Sweden’s only marine national park – Kosterhavet National Park. The park is home to around 12,000 species, about half of which live in the sea, while the rest can be found on the surrounding islands and skerries.

The Coastal Path
In Strömstad Municipality, the Coastal Path continues north into Norway towards Halden, and especially further into Tanum Municipality. The trail stretches from Svinesund via Dragonkullen and Krokstrand, continuing to Vassbotten by the Idefjord in the south.

Sailing School During the Holidays
Learn to sail during your holiday! At Strömstad Sailing School, beginner courses are available for children aged 9–12 who want to learn how to sail. The sailing school usually runs Monday to Friday during the holiday weeks and is very popular.
