At First Camp Vadstena – Vättern, you’ll find nearly 400 pitches for caravans, motorhomes, and tents – so you’re guaranteed to find your favourite spot! Several of the pitches offer beautiful views of Lake Vättern, and no matter where you stay, you’re always close to stunning scenery.

Camping pitch
Our camping pitches are perfect for guests with a caravan, smaller motorhome, or tent. Some of the pitches are located right by the water’s edge, offering front-row views of Lake Vättern. Check out the camping map at the top right to see exactly where each pitch is located. You can also choose a specific pitch when booking – for example, a lakeside spot, one close to the service building, near the beach, or in a more peaceful and natural setting.
Camping pitch with electricity – max 6–14 m

Motorhome
Our motorhome pitches are spread throughout the area and are ideal for those travelling by motorhome. Some are lakeside pitches with beautiful views of Lake Vättern. If you’d like to choose a specific pitch, take a look at the camping map at the top right and select your preferred spot when booking online.

Tent
If you’re camping with a tent, you can book one of our tent pitches. Electricity is included, and of course, you have access to all the facilities in our service buildings.
Our camping pitches are also suitable for tents – here you can select your spot on the map if you’d like to stay close to the service building, near the restaurant, or with a view of Lake Vättern.

The campsite has four service buildings available for you to use during your stay – check the camping map to see which one is closest to your pitch.
Service building 1
WC, shower, waste disposal for fixed tanks.
Service building 2
WC, shower, RWC, family room, baby changing facilities, dishwashing area, kitchen, washing machine, waste disposal for portable tanks.
Service building 3
WC, shower, RWC, family room, baby changing facilities, dishwashing area, kitchen, TV, sauna, dog shower, waste disposal for portable tanks.
Service building 4
WC, shower, family room, baby changing facilities, kitchen, waste disposal for portable and fixed tanks.
Dump station
For portable tanks
Next to service building 2, you’ll find a CamperClean – an automatic emptying station for portable toilet tanks. Simply place the cassette in the machine, and it will be emptied, rinsed, and sprayed with an antibacterial cleaning solution before coming out clean and ready to use. Super convenient!
For fixed tanks
Waste disposal for fixed tanks is available by service buildings 1 and 4.
