Activities at the campsite in Vadstena
There’s plenty to do at the campsite for both kids and adults! Take a dip at the popular Vätterviksbadet, challenge the family to a round of mini golf, or head out onto Lake Vättern in a kayak or on a SUP board.
During the summer, we also offer a kids’ club and entertainment several days a week.
When you’re ready to explore more, the charming centre of Vadstena is just a few minutes away, with cosy shops, restaurants, and local attractions. Feel free to ask us at the reception for more tips!
Beach and swimming
Right here on the campsite, you’ll find the popular Vätterviksbadet, one of the best bathing spots on Lake Vättern. Enjoy the soft sandy bottom, shallow waters, and beautiful views of the lake – perfect for swimmers of all ages.
BMX track
Bouncy
Our large jumping pillow is a big favourite among energetic kids! Jump, bounce, and laugh until the sun sets – the perfect way to burn off some energy before it’s time for an evening barbecue.
Entertainment
Between weeks 27–32, we invite you to fantastic camping evenings with quiz nights and bingo twice a week. Sing along, shout “BINGO!” and enjoy a lovely evening together with family and fellow campers. The activities are, of course, included in the price when you book.

Family activities
During weeks 27–32, we invite you to enjoy family activities at the campsite, where togetherness and movement take centre stage. Children, teenagers, and adults can join playful competitions, ball games, and other fun activities. Football field
Got a football fan in the family? Head to our football goals to practice some passes, play a friendly match – or even organise a mini tournament during your stay. Let the game begin!
Kayak hire
Head out onto the clear waters of Lake Vättern in a kayak and experience nature from its most beautiful side. Enjoy the calm, fresh air, and sense of freedom that only the lake can offer. Paddle along the shoreline, take a break on a rock, or watch the sunset from the water – the perfect way to discover Vadstena and Lake Vättern!
Kids club
Play, have fun and make new camping besties at Yessi Club! Between weeks 27–32, we invite you to enjoy lots of fun kids’ club activities here at the campsite. Our lucky mascot Yessi joins every activity, spreading laughter, joy and plenty of magical hugs. All activities are included in the price when you book. A summer holiday you’ll never forget!
Live music
What sets the mood better than live music on a warm summer evening? During weeks 27–32, local live bands and singer-songwriters provide entertainment two evenings per week. From sing-alongs and spontaneous dancing to laid-back tunes accompanying a relaxed evening in good company – anything can happen.
Mini golf
A holiday without mini golf just isn’t a proper camping holiday! Our course is both fun and challenging – ideal for the competitive members of the family.
And as always, the golden rule applies: the loser buys the ice cream afterwards! A timeless classic.
Pedel car
Hire a pedal car and discover more of the campsite and its beautiful surroundings. A fun activity for adults and children.
Playground
For our youngest campers, there’s a lovely playground where imagination can run wild! There are climbing frames, swings, and plenty of space for hours of fun. While the kids play, parents can relax nearby and enjoy the stunning view of Lake Vättern.
Rent a bicycle
Experience the beautiful surroundings by bike. Perfect if you want to go on a fun excursion on your own or with your family. Why not bring a picknick to enjoy in the stunning nature and the open landscape? Rent your bicycle via the campsite activity centre.
Sup
Rent a SUP board and explore Lake Vättern from its most peaceful side. Find your balance and take in the lake’s soothing views – a great activity for the whole family, whether you’re a beginner or already an expert. It’s especially magical at sunset!
