Stensö – Kalmar

First Camp Stensö – Kalmar is situated in scenic and wind-protected surroundings on a peninsula in Kalmarsund. The campsite is surrounded by many great bathing places and there is plenty to discover. Our camping pitches and cabins are located in a green area with lovely oaks, birch and asps. During the summer weeks, at the campsite you will also find a service shop with coffee and freshly baked bread.

 

In addition to the opportunity for wonderful days enjoying the sun and swimming, our campsite on Stensö offers lovely hiking trails, rental of bicycles and canoes, a newly built adventure golf course and a playground with a jumping pillow.

 

Kalmar often offers events for the whole family and has been voted “Summer City of the year” on several occasions. The campsite is 3 kilometres from the centre of Kvarnholmen, with its bathing areas, shops, cosy cafes and restaurants and the popular Larmtorget Square. If you are looking for excursions, there is Smålands glassworks, handicraft country and wonderful Öland with its many sights.
