Here are some of the beaches in Kalmar listed. You can find lively beaches in the city centre, as well as calmer beaches north and south of the city.

 

STENSÖ
Beach located at a family campsite about 2,5 km south of the city centre. Jetties, sandy beach and grass. At the area there are showers, toilets, kiosk, restaurant, mini golf, playground and a jogging track.

 

KATTRUMPAN
Popular beach with jetty in the end of the shopping street “Storgatan” in the city centre. Showers and toilets are at disposal on the beach. Sand at the shoreline, otherwise grass.

 

KALMARSUNDSPARKEN
Beach located about 1 km south of the city centre. Sand beach and grass. Jetty, shower and toilets.

 

LÅNGVIKEN
Beach with jetty, sand beach and grass. Diving tower (10m), showers and toilets at disposal. Beach volleyball area. Winter swimming with sauna. For more information about the sauna, phone: +46 (0) 480-45 07 06. The beach is located about 1,5 km from the centre of Kalmar, drive towards Stensö.

Come and bounce on our jumping pillow, sure to be a favourite for guests of all ages! (Show caution and make sure children are accompanied by an adult).

During the summers, we offer fantastic camping nights with entertainment several days a week, and summer 2024 is no exception! Sing along, dance, and participate in camping quizzes with family and camping neighbors. The activities are completely free.

Our popular training program is back this summer, hooray! Start your day with a fun, invigorating, and sweaty outdoor workout. Summer’s training offers three different training forms, spread over three days a week. Whether you’re a beginner or a regular gym-goer, it doesn’t matter. People come to our training sessions to recharge, have fun, and, of course, break a sweat! The activities are completely free.

Are you hungry for the next challenge, want to come across your height of fear or get to know yourself in extreme situations?

 

Now it’s time to get over your fears while you’re having fun. Climb from platform to platform up among the tree tops, swing your nets, balance the wire and throw yourself in a ropeway.

 

On the high altitude track inside the camping area, safety is a priority and you are constantly under the supervision of trained instructors. So you can relax and enjoy the surroundings! The adventure begins with a security review before you reach the track with excitement and enthusiasm.

 

One thing is for sure, here you test your limits and discover new skills in yourself! So do not hesitate and book the next challenge today.

 

There will be fixed times throughout the summer, but it’s also good to book your own time for your group.

 

Welcome!

The campsite includes some of Kalmar’s most popular hiking trails. There are three main tracks of 2.5 km, 3.2 km and 5 km . You can take the longest one all the way out on Stensö promontory where Gustav Vasa disembarked May 31 1520th.

Hire a pedal car and discover more of the campsite and its beautiful surroundings. A fun activity for adults and children.

Our playground is the absolute favorite of the children. The playground offers a variety of exciting challenges and maintains a high safety standard. And why not let the kids have a blast on the fun bouncing cushion? They can jump for hours of fun!

Experience the beautiful surroundings by bike. Perfect if you want to go on a fun excursion on your own or with your family. Why not bring a picknick to enjoy in the stunning nature and the open landscape? Rent your bicycle via the campsite activity centre.
