Dog-friendly at Moraparken – Dalarna

Dogs are warmly welcome at Moraparken! Everything you need for an active and enjoyable holiday with your furry companion is right here – scenic walking paths, refreshing swimming spots, and even a dog play area nearby. Whether you prefer a peaceful moment by the water or an adventure in nature, there’s something for every paw.

 

Dog shower
After a day out in the forest or on the trails, it’s great to rinse off muddy paws. The dog shower is located at service building 2 – perfect for washing away dust and dirt after a day of exploring.

 

Dog beach
There are several dog-friendly swimming areas in Moraparken. You’ll find one by the hotel and reception building, one west of the main beach, and another just beyond the point near the boat ramp. Both dogs and humans can enjoy a refreshing dip – just note that some areas may have a slightly rocky bottom.

 

Dog play area
About 500 meters from the campsite, there’s a public dog play area where dogs can run freely and play off-leash.

 

Agility course
If you want to challenge your dog a bit more, Morabrukshundklubb is located about 7 km from the campsite. The club has an agility course and is open year-round.

 

Walking trails
The nature around Moraparken offers stunning trails and beautiful views. Follow the famous Vasaloppet trail for a hike through historic terrain, take a walk around the Mora Golf Club by Lake Siljan, or climb to the top of Gesundaberget – where breathtaking views over Siljan await.
