Mora Ski Stadium is the city’s largest recreational area, located about 2 km from the center of Mora. The area offers a wide network of ski trails, with the cross-country tracks opening in mid-November, depending on the weather and temperature.

Follow in the footsteps of Anders Zorn along a 3.5 km walking trail through the heart of Mora. Discover the places where the artist painted and learn about his contributions to the region through nine information boards placed along the route.

No one has painted water like Anders Zorn, captured portraits with such mastery, or portrayed women with the same sensual grace. Visit Zorn in his hometown of Mora and experience the magic of his art where it all began.

On the Troll and Clown Trail, children can make their way through the forest, stopping at fun stations along the route. There’s room for snacks, laughter, and songs along the way. The trail starts at the same place as the running tracks by the football field in Östnor, near the village cabin.

Trails near the Vasaloppet track – Gopshusbacken features two lifts and four slopes. The longest run is 1,350 meters with a vertical drop of 180 meters. There’s also a 130-meter snowboard slope with halfpipes.

Centrally located park and forest course, 18 holes, par 72. Beautiful holes surrounded by pine forest where straight shots are rewarded. The course is situated by the Österdal River, just two kilometers from the center of Mora.

Kråkberg Beach is within cycling distance from Mora – a popular long, shallow swimming area on Lake Orsasjön, perfect for families.

An inspiring hike through a nature reserve with a coffee break at the beautifully situated shelter by the riverbank, where you can relax to the gentle sound of flowing water.

Boat tours on Lake Siljan run from May to September, with departures from Leksand, Rättvik, or Mora. Enjoy great food and drinks while taking in the beautiful views of Dalarna from the water.
