Activities at the campsite
At the campsite you’ll find activities for both young and old! Challenge family and friends to a round of mini golf, or test your strategy with our large outdoor chess set. Children will enjoy the playground, while adults can relax in the sauna after an active day outdoors.
Just outside the campsite you’ll find beautiful hiking and cycling trails that take you through the stunning mountain landscape around Beitostølen – perfect for both peaceful walks and more adventurous experiences.
When you want to explore more, Beitostølen center is only a short walk away, with cozy shops, restaurants and local attractions. Feel free to ask us at the reception for tips on trips and activities in the area!

Cross-country skiiing
Snow beneath your skis and mountains as far as the eye can see! The campsite is a perfect base for experiencing all kinds of skiing – from world-class cross-country trails to alpine slopes and ski touring. Whether you’re looking for speed, freedom or peaceful tours in the winter landscape, Beitostølen offers experiences for all levels.
Fishing
Peace, nature and maybe a catch on the line – what more could you ask for? The area around Beitostølen offers great opportunities for fishing in both lakes and rivers during the summer season. When winter arrives, the mountain lakes turn into perfect spots for ice fishing – a calm and authentic mountain experience all year round.
Fishing permits can easily be purchased via Inatur.no.
Hiking trails
Out into the mountains – and the good mood comes naturally! The campsite is the perfect starting point for exploring world-famous trails such as Besseggen, Bitihorn and Knutshøe. In the surrounding area, you’ll find hiking trails in varied terrain – whether you’re an experienced hiker or discovering the Norwegian mountains for the first time. In Beitostølen, the possibilities for hiking are almost endless.
Mini golf
Challenge family and friends to a round of mini golf! A fun activity for all ages — perfect for friendly competition and plenty of laughs.
We also offer billiard golf at the campsite. Billiard golf is a fun activity that combines billiards and golf. You use a cue to hit balls along a course with various obstacles and into holes – aiming to complete it in as few shots as possible. A social and entertaining experience suitable for most people.
Playground
Kids will love our playground! Here, they can run, climb, and play freely in a safe environment while the adults enjoy the view.
Sauna
Lean back and enjoy a relaxing moment in the sauna after an active day outdoors. Perfect for recharging and letting the mountain calm settle over you.
