The Kyrkstigen trail (also known as the Lillskogs Trail) is a lovely, close-to-town hiking route about 6 kilometers long, set in easy, gentle terrain. The most convenient and recommended starting point is from Tannbergsskolan in Lycksele.

Lycksele Golf Club offers a beautiful 18-hole course surrounded by the serene nature of northern Sweden, where every swing is accompanied by the quiet whisper of forest and river. Here, the joy of the game and a sense of community come together — whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned golfer.

Maltån is a truly charming little river located about 40 kilometers from Lycksele (Lycksele–Bussjön–Maltträsk), on the way toward Åmsele. It’s perfect for a real “wilderness-style” paddle - a calm, winding river that meanders gently through nature, weaving between reeds and trees.

The Ponderosa Trail is easy to ride but requires a mountain bike (MTB). All the picnic spots can be reached with a regular bike via the gravel road called Ponderosa Road.
