First Camp Ansia – Lycksele enjoys a beautiful location by the Umeälven river and is a destination worth discovering all year round. Here, you’ll stay close to both nature and Lycksele’s wide range of activities and experiences, whether you’re travelling with family, friends or on your own.
At Ansia, you can stay in a caravan, motorhome or tent, book one of our cabins or check in at Lilla Hotellet. The campsite has service buildings with showers, toilets, laundry facilities and a sauna. By the entrance, you’ll find the reception and shop, where you can check in and buy fishing permits and other essentials you may need during your stay.
Summer at Ansia – Lycksele
Summer in Lycksele brings bright nights, beautiful scenery and plenty to do for both adults and children. The campsite has a beach and several playgrounds, and during the summer there are even more activities to enjoy.
During weeks 27–32, you can enjoy our Summer Weeks, featuring a kids’ club, family activities and entertainment. Perfect for anyone who wants to combine relaxing campsite life with fun activities for the whole family. Ansia Badpark is also just a stone’s throw from the campsite, offering plenty of fun in the water. Tickets to the water park can easily be added online when booking your accommodation.
Winter at Ansia – Lycksele
When winter arrives, Lycksele transforms into a true winter destination. Head out on scenic cross-country ski trails, experience exciting dog sledding adventures and keep an eye out for the Northern Lights illuminating the dark winter sky.

Visit Lycksele Djurpark
Be sure to visit the popular Lycksele Djurpark, located around 3 km from Ansia. When booking your accommodation online, you can add admission tickets to the zoo with a 25% discount. You’ll receive your tickets at check-in. If you’d like to visit the zoo on your day of arrival, you can collect your tickets from reception before checking in.

Ansia also has fully equipped conference facilities, with arrangements that can be tailored to your group’s needs. For conferences and groups, our cabins and hotel provide comfortable and welcoming accommodation close to meetings, activities and nature.

Age Limit
During week 30, everyone in the company must have reached the age of 25 to be able to book and stay with us. In addition to this week, all guests must be 18 years or accompanied by a guardian. Valid identification must be presented upon request.
Bollards
During the high season, guests receive a code for the bollards at check-in. During the winter season there are no boom gates.
Bus Connections
The nearest bus stop is just outside the reception. Search bus times here.
Cardiac Defibrillators
Cardiac defibrillators are available at the reception and in the restaurant.
Emptying station
Latrine emptying is available at environmental station 1 and at all service buildings. During the winter season, latrine emptying is only available at Service House 2.

First Camp Ansia – Lycksele is open all year round.
Refuse
At First Camp, we make active efforts to improve the environment, and we encourage our guests to do the same. At our waste stations we sort, among other things, plastic, aluminium, glass, paper and newspapers. Instructions are posted at each station.
Service Card
Upon check-in, you will receive a pass/service card. These can be loaded with money and used for e.g., washing machines (showers are free).
Store
The store has the same opening hours as the reception.
WIFI
WIFI is available in limited parts of the area. Please note that the connection may be slightly slower during the summer weeks.
