Dog friendly at Västerås – Mälaren

Dogs are warmly welcome at Västerås – Mälaren! There are large green areas, scenic walking paths, and a dog beach where your pup can take a refreshing dip. The surroundings make this the perfect place for a holiday with your dog.

 

Dog shower
After a day full of play and adventure, it’s nice to rinse off those paws. The dog shower is located by service building 2 and is ideal for freshening up before settling in for the evening.

 

Dog beach
There’s a dog beach at Lake Mälaren. Just follow the path past cabin 10 down to the water, where dogs are free to swim. Humans are welcome too, but note that the lake bottom is rocky. There’s also a barbecue area nearby for a cozy lunch or dinner outdoors.

 

Walking paths
The campsite is directly connected to lovely walking trails where you and your dog can explore nature together. The large green spaces are perfect for play, relaxation, and peaceful walks by the water.
