First Camp Sjöstugan is open year-round and is just as perfect for a summer family holiday as for a business trip to Älmhult. During winter, you can enjoy the sauna and hot tub – a refreshing experience even for campers. The hotel also offers conference and event facilities for up to 70 people, making it ideal for companies, weddings, and gatherings surrounded by nature.

 

For those looking for an active holiday, there’s plenty to do. Rent a canoe or boat and explore the lake, try the sauna boat, or gather friends for a game of beach volleyball. When you feel like exploring the area, adventures and culture await – from the world’s only IKEA Museum to scenic walking trails and the peaceful Bökhult beach.

 

There’s also room for life’s simple pleasures – treat yourself to an ice cream in the sun, enjoy freshly baked bread rolls, or try our breakfast buffet available to all guests, whether you’re staying in a hotel room, cabin, caravan, or tent. Waste & Recycling
At First Camp, we actively work towards a better environment, and we hope you’ll join us in doing the same. At our waste stations, we sort items such as plastic, aluminum, glass, cardboard, and newspapers. Recycling stations are located by the service building and the reception building.

 

Barrier Gates
The barriers are opened and closed using the service card you receive at check-in.

 

Bus Connections
The local bus stop is located 600 meters from the campsite, with connections to the town center. Ask at reception for more information or visit www.lanstrafikenkron.se for complete timetables and routes. There are also several scenic walking trails from the town center to First Camp Sjöstugan – Älmhult, approximately 2 km away.

 

Shop
The service shop is open during the spring and summer seasons. It is gradually stocked during spring to offer a full range during the summer season.

 

Defibrillator
A defibrillator is available at the reception.

 

Service Card
Service cards are provided at check-in and are used for access to the showers in the service buildings. Showers are free of charge.

 

Waste Disposal Station
A disposal station for chemical toilets is available by the service building. Disposal for portable tanks is also located there.

 

WiFi
WiFi is available throughout the campsite. Login details are available at the reception.

 

Opening Hours
First Camp Sjöstugan – Älmhult is open year-round. Other facilities such as the shop and restaurant have seasonal opening hours.
