Just 6 kilometres from Halmstad, you’ll find First Camp Hagön – Halmstad, an all-year-round campsite surrounded by greenery and with the salty West Coast sea as your closest neighbour. Here, you stay comfortably and beautifully, wonderfully close to the beach, the ocean, and the city’s range of shopping, restaurants and entertainment.

 

At our campsite, the outdoor life is something to enjoy throughout the year. Summer brings sun, swimming and vibrant beach days, while winter offers tranquillity, fresh sea air and peaceful moments in nature. No matter the season, Hagön is a place to relax, spend time together and create new memories.

 

A summer gem at Östra stranden
At First Camp Hagön – Halmstad, the long sandy Östra stranden stretches out with warm, soft sand – perfect for relaxation, swimming and play. When you want a little break from the beach, you’ll find mini golf, boule, a playground and a jumping pillow nearby. During the holiday weeks, we also offer organised activities for children – ideal for families who want that extra holiday feeling!

 

Winter calm by the sea
During winter, Hagön transforms into a peaceful retreat for anyone seeking calm, nature and the closeness of the ocean. Take a stroll along the beach in the crisp air, enjoy a refreshing winter dip or unwind in your caravan or cabin with the sea as your companion. Winter camping here is perfect for exploring attractions such as the Halland Art Museum, Halmstad Castle, Norre Port or Galgberget with its beautiful views.

 

Close to Halmstad’s city pulse
By bus, car or bike, you can easily reach Halmstad’s city centre with cosy cafés, great restaurants, shopping and a lively cultural and nightlife scene. Stroll along the Nissan river, relax at an outdoor café on Stora torg or combine the city vibe with one of the summer events. And if you’re in the mood to explore a bit further, Gothenburg is within easy reach for a day trip.

You’ll also find our general comfort rules that apply to all camping guests, so your stay can be as enjoyable as possible!

 

Waste
At First Camp, we actively work for a better environment and hope that you as a guest do the same. At our waste stations, we sort items such as plastic, aluminium, glass, cardboard and newspapers. Instructions are available at each station.

 

Gates
Open the gate using the access cards you received at check-in. On exit, the gate opens automatically.

 

Bus connections
The bus stops 200 metres from the campsite. Timetables are available at reception. Bus services start from Midsummer.

 

Shop
The service shop is open during the spring and summer season. It is gradually stocked up throughout spring to offer a full range during the summer season.

 

Defibrillator
A defibrillator is available at reception.

 

Service card
At check-in you will receive access/service cards. These can be topped up with money and used for, for example, washing machines (showers are free).

 

Emptying station
Chemical toilets can be emptied at each service building on the site. An emptying station for fixed tanks is located by the turn just outside the campsite.

 

WIFI
WIFI is available in limited areas of the site near the service buildings, reception, the bistro, and in the cabin area.

 

Opening hours
First Camp Hagön – Halmstad is open all year round. Other facilities such as the bistro and shop have varying opening hours depending on the season.
