Welcome to First Camp Herrgårdsliv in Kristinehamn – where the sparkling waters of Vänern meet Värmland’s nature. Enjoy a relaxed camping break with lazy days by the lake and easy access to the town’s culture and small-town charm.

 

The campsite sits in a leafy setting right on the water. Many cabins and pitches offer lake views, and you can walk or cycle to Kristinehamn town centre and the famous Picasso sculpture. It’s a great year-round base – for sunny summer days or the cooler seasons. Choose pitches for caravan, motorhome or tent, or pick from several cabin types, from spacious lake-view cabins to cosy camping cabins close to nature.

 

Start your morning with a stroll along the shore or a refreshing dip in Vänern. Hop on a bike towards the archipelago or wander into town for a fika. Kids will love the play areas and summer activities, and the elegant manor next door sets the scene for weddings and celebrations.

Opening hours
First Camp Herrgårdsliv – Kristinehamn is open all year. Activities, restaurant and shop have seasonal hours.

 

Barrier gate
Open with the access card provided at check-in. Quiet hours apply after 00:00

 

Waste & recycling
We work actively to reduce our impact. Please sort plastics, aluminium, glass, cardboard and newspapers at the recycling points. Instructions are posted at each station.

 

Defibrillator (AED)
Available at reception. In an emergency, call 112.

 

Dump station
Grey-water/portable tank emptying in all service buildings. Fixed tanks at both the North and East service houses (see map). Check the site map for locations.

 

Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi is available in selected areas. Speeds may be limited at peak times.

 

Fire extinguishers
Placed throughout the site (see map). Note the closest extinguisher to your location.

 

EV charging
Charging points by the car park near reception (see map). Payment by access card.

 

Pet-friendly
We love four-legged friends, but keep them on a lead. Dogs are not allowed on the bathing beach or in the shop. A dog-swim area is by the guest harbour (see map).

 

Hot Water in Service Buildings
Supply can vary, please keep showers short during busy periods.

 

Heating in cabins
Controlled via the cabin thermostat. Don’t open doors/windows to cool down – the system will heat more. Lower the thermostat instead. Contact reception if you need help.
