A gem of a destination by Lake Vänern
Minigolf, hiking trails, quiz trails, a relaxation cottage, a sandy beach and diving rocks. As you can tell, this is the perfect destination for a holiday with focus on relaxation in pleasant company. But there is also a wide range of fun activities for those times when you are in the mood for a little more action. You can hire a canoe, rowboat or pedal boat and explore Duse Udde from the water, play volleyball with Lake Vänern as a majestic backdrop, or hire a pedal car. And for our younger campers there is a large jumping pillow and a great playground that promises many hours of fun and games.
Basketball
We love ball games of all kinds! Here you can dribble past your friends on the basketball court, hone your technique on your own, or challenge your family to a game or two. A fun and exciting sport a little out of the ordinary, and one that is becoming increasingly popular for people of all ages. Get ready for a match, because here we go!
Beach and swimming
Duse Udde has several bathing and swimming beaches. The beach nearest the campsite is a child-friendly sandy beach with shallow waters. Bring along your swimming gear, towels and a picnic, and spend a whole day at the beach. Perfect on a warm, sunny summer’s day. Do you have a dog? We have the perfect beach for your dog at the guest harbour. Everyone is welcome at Duse Udde!
Beach volleyball
Gather your crew and play on our popular beach volleyball court. The perfect activity during summer, allowing you to exercise and hang out with family and friends all at once! Why not end the game with a refreshing dip in the water? Sounds good if you ask us!
Bicycle trails
Cycle around Sweden’s largest lake! At Duse Udde there are fantastic cycle trails to discover. In 2022, the Vänerleden was inaugurated, which runs along the Vänern and passes by the campsite. The trail is approximately 640 kilometers long and here you get to experience varying surfaces in magnificent nature. In addition, you pass several sights and places of interest along the way.
Boule
Who will be the campsite champion? Most have probably played boule at some time in their life and that is not strange at all because the game really is the ultimate summer activity.
Fishing
Of course, fishing is something for everyone! With accommodation right next to Vänern, it is clear that you should take the opportunity to explore the incredible fishing opportunities. You don’t need to be a professional or have all the equipment to enjoy fishing at Duse Udde.
Hiking trails
Do you love quiz trails? Would you like to explore lovely areas of nature at the same time? Here is a tip for an activity that will be great for the entire family! Take a GPS-quiz hike along a 3.8 km trail. Once you have finished the hike and answered all the questions, you can pick up a gift from the reception office. Hiking and quiz questions at the same time!
Mini golf
The campsite has a miniature golf course, great for everyone in the family. This is a very popular activity, so why not challenge your family or friends to see who becomes champion of the miniature golf course? Clubs and balls for the miniature golf course can be rented at your destination shop. The last round for miniature golf is 1 hour before closing time.
The minigolf is open in the summer from June to August, a warm welcome!

Pedal boats
Go for a boat ride and discover your surroundings from the water. The perfect activity if you want to get a workout in during your holiday while enjoying nature at the same time. As much fun for young and old campers alike! Ask at the reception about secret gems that cannot be missed.
Pedel car
This is a fun activity for both kids and adults. Hire a pedal go-kart and explore the campsite yourself, or together with family and friends. We have pedal go-karts for 1 person, and for 2 to 4 people. NOTE! These can only be used at the campsite. You can rent pedal go-karts at the reception desk and pay in the shop.
The pedal bikes are a summer activity and can be rented from May to August
Playground
In the camping area right by the beach there is a popular playground where kids can play. This has swings, a slide and a climbing frame. Enjoy the beach and views of Lake Vättern while the kids play and have fun!
Relax
Book our sauna and wood-fired hot tub for max. 8 people. Showers and toilets are in the nearby service building. Bring your own towel or rent a towel for SEK 80. Outside the Relax cabin is a table and chairs where you can sit and enjoy yourself. Leave the area as you found it and throw away any rubbish at the recycling station. Heating the sauna and hot tub is your responsibility. Heating takes about 3 hours. Wood is included in the price.

Rent a bicycle
Experience the beautiful surroundings by bike. Perfect if you want to go on a fun excursion on your own or with your family. Why not bring a picknick to enjoy in the stunning nature and the open landscape? Rent your bicycle via the campsite activity centre.
Rent a canoe
Explore Lake Vänern and the campsite surroundings by canoe – a true adventure for the family! Why not check out some of the nearby promontories or simply explore the beautiful nature of the area. The canoes have room for max. 2 people and you can choose to rent for an hour or the day.
The canoe rental is open in the summer from June to August.
Rowboats
Rent a rowboat and head out towards beautiful views! A relaxing activity for those who want to enjoy the quiet waters. Bring your swimwear and don’t forget the life jacket!
Sauna
Start the day in the best possible way, or end it perfectly! In our fresh sauna, you can recover together with friends and family, or make new acquaintances and get to know your camping neighbors a little better. Here you can take a sauna at three places in the area, welcome!
