Ormbergsbacken
Ormbergsbacken is a small family ski resort with a small lift. In the slope there is a big jump and several different rails. There is also slope for the small children where they can ride a sledge. The ski area has several barbecue, which the municipality supplies with wood and there is also a cabin if you bring your own food.
Måttsundbacken
Just outside Luleå, very close to the coast, lies Måttsundsbacken. Here you will find two lifts for three slopes. You can choose a easier slope if you are a beginner or take the steeper one if you are a more advanced skier. In Måttsund there is also a children’s slope with a lift so the whole family can enjoy a day in Måttsund. The resort has a restaurant and there is also a cabin if you bring your own food.
Storklinten
Storklinten is about 1 hour by car from our campsite and is a bigger facility just outside Boden. Here there are 18 slopes and five lifts. There are several slopes of different difficulty. At the resort there are also sledge slopes, cross country trails and you can also try to ride a snowmobile. The Restaurant is located at the bottom of the hill.
