Welcome to First Camp Nickstabadet – Nynäshamn, a seaside escape close to the city where you can easily switch between lazy beach days and small adventures. Here, you stay right next to the long, beautiful sandy beach of Nickstaviken – the perfect spot for morning swims, sandcastle building and refreshing dips on warm summer days.
With a jetty, diving tower and water slide, there’s plenty of space for fun and swimming, while the surrounding nature offers peace and relaxation. Head out on the water by kayak or canoe, pack a picnic and explore the walking trails, or hop on a bike and discover the area at your own pace.
During the summer season, you’ll find a restaurant, café, kiosk and service shop on site – perfect when you want to make your holiday extra easy. And of course, the whole family is welcome, including your four-legged friend. This is a dog friendly campsite with great walking paths, open spaces and a convenient dog wash.
If you feel like combining seaside relaxation with city life, Stockholm is just about an hour away. Here, you truly get the best of both worlds – peaceful days by the sea and easy access to the city whenever you like.

Here you will find practical information that may be useful during your stay at our destination. What applies to WIFI, where the waste disposal station is located, or where to find the nearest defibrillator? Here you can also read our general guest guidelines, which apply to all camping guests to help make your stay as pleasant as possible!
Waste
At First Camp, we actively work for a better environment and hope that you as a guest will do the same. At our waste stations, we sort materials such as plastic, aluminium, glass, cardboard and newspapers. Instructions are available at each station.
Barriers
Open the barrier using the access cards you received at check-in.
Bus connections
A bus stops 450 metres from the campsite.
The commuter train to Stockholm is located 800 metres from the campsite.
Shop
The service shop is open during the spring and summer season. It is gradually stocked during spring to offer a full selection during summer.
Defibrillator
A defibrillator is available at the reception.
Service card
At check-in you receive access/service cards. These can be loaded with money and used for e.g. washing machines (showers are free).
Waste disposal station
Toilet waste disposal is located in the same building as the hostel and reception, as well as behind service building 2.
WIFI
WIFI is available in limited parts of the area.
Opening hours
First Camp Nickstabadet – Nynäshamn is open all year round. Other units such as the restaurant and shop have varying opening hours depending on the season.
