Dogs are warmly welcome at Nydala! There are plenty of opportunities for both relaxing strolls and active days in nature – with great hiking trails, a dog beach, and a planned dog training club in the area.
Dog shower
There’s a dog shower next to cabins 71–72 – ideal for rinsing off muddy paws after a day of adventures.
Dog beach
About 500 meters from the campsite, next to the main swimming area, there is a dog-friendly dog beach. You’ll also find several nice spots around Lake Nydala where dogs can go for a swim.
Walking trails
The area offers fantastic hiking options. The Nydala Trail includes several loops up to 10 km, and walking around the lake is a popular choice. For a longer outing, follow the path past Zip Adventure Park and into the forest toward the village of Anumark. There are also football fields nearby where you can throw a ball and train.
Winter tips
During winter, walking around the lake is a cozy experience, and there’s a ski trail where dogs are allowed too.
More dog-friendly tips
Dogs must be kept on a leash in the campsite. Feel free to ask at reception for more dog-friendly tips in and around the area.
Welcome to Nydala – a place where both you and your dog can enjoy nature all year round!
