Unforgettable Varberg
Our destination in Kärradal has loads of fun activities for everyone. Long shallow child-friendly beaches stretch out before you, providing a perfect setting for long summer days with the feel of sand between your toes and salt in your hair. Challenge your family and friends to a game of adventure golf or boules, or hire a minipro segway or pedal car and compete with each other in between delicious ice cream breaks. Enjoy an energising workout session, make the most of the fun activities arranged in our popular Kids Club and take in the evening entertainment at the campsite, or rent a bicycle and head out for a delicious prawn sandwich on the cliffs by the magnificent Varberg Fortress.
Beach and swimming
Just 200 meters from Kärradal-Varberg, the long shallow child-friendly beaches stretch out. Here, you’ll also find cliffs and a pier for those who prefer diving into the blue waters.
The beach is also perfect for windsurfing and kitesurfing.
Bicycle trails
Explore the bicycle trails around the campsite and experience the area on two wheels. A perfect way to spend your time outdoors in nature, and to discover new gems to revisit. The local area is teeming with lovely spots and great nature experiences for the whole family!
Boule
The Boule court is just behind the service house no. 5. It is free and one can rent the balls from the reception
Entertainment
Between weeks 27–32, we invite you to fantastic camping evenings with quiz nights and bingo twice a week. Sing along, shout “BINGO!” and enjoy a lovely evening together with family and fellow campers. The activities are, of course, included in the price when you book.

Family activities
During weeks 27–32, we invite you to enjoy family activities at the campsite, where togetherness and movement take centre stage. Children, teenagers, and adults can join playful competitions, ball games, and other fun activities. Kids club
Play, have fun and make new camping besties at Yessi Club! Between weeks 27–32, we invite you to enjoy lots of fun kids’ club activities here at the campsite. Our lucky mascot Yessi joins every activity, spreading laughter, joy and plenty of magical hugs. All activities are included in the price when you book. A summer holiday you’ll never forget!
Live music
What sets the mood better than live music on a warm summer evening? During weeks 27–32, local live bands and singer-songwriters provide entertainment two evenings per week. From sing-alongs and spontaneous dancing to laid-back tunes accompanying a relaxed evening in good company – anything can happen.
Mini golf
The campsite has a miniature golf course, great for everyone in the family. This is a very popular activity, so why not challenge your family or friends to see who becomes champion of the miniature golf course?
Pedel car
Hire a pedal car and discover more of the campsite and its beautiful surroundings. A fun activity for adults and children.
Rent a bicycle
Experience the beautiful surroundings by bike. Perfect if you want to go on a fun excursion on your own or with your family. Why not bring a picknick to enjoy in the stunning nature and the open landscape? Rent your bicycle via the campsite activity centre.
