Play golf in Umeå

There are two golf clubs near our campsite in Umeå, it takes between 20-25 minutes by car to both clubs.

Umeå Sörfors GK is a short drive from First Camp Nydala-Umeå. The club’s 18-hole course is of a park character and lies in a rolling countryside on an old farmland. It was named “Course of the Year” in Norr- and Västerbotten in 2002 and 2003. 2014 ranked Umeå Sörfors GK 8 hole course as one of Sweden’s 50 best.

There is also Umeå Golf Club. A large golf course with a 27 hole course in lightly hilly fields, and considered one of Norrlands most beautiful courses. There is also a newly renovated pitch course.

Umeå Discgolf Club

If one prefers to throw the Frisbee rather than swing the club, one can visit Umeå Disc Golf Club which is just 3 km from the city. The club has several different courses.
