The municipality of Oskarshamn offers varied fishing opportunities for both first-timers and experienced fishing enthusiasts. Those looking for sea trout, pike, perch or whitefish angling should pick the coastline where as if fishing on the lake, one can find rainbow trout, pike, perch, eel and crayfish.
Play golf in Oskarshamn
There are several nice golf courses near the campsite on Gunnarsö. All with less than 30 minutes drive from the campsite.
Oskarshamns Golf Club can be found in Skorpetorp, located 15 km south of Gunnarsö. Their 18-hole course is top notch and is a park and forest course. There is a restaurant and exercise area.
Mönsterås Golf Club’s 9-hole full-length course is located at Högemåla about 300 meters west of E22, easy to find for those who are new to the area. The course is housed in a typical Småland forest woodland. At the golf course there is a driving range with tees from grass, a practice area for chipping and bunkers training and a putting green. The course is 30 minutes by car from the campsite at Gunnarsö.
Figeholm Golf & Country clubs nice 9-hole course is also located on Småland coast, only 22 km from the campsite.
