First Camp in Skönstavik is a lovely destination, as the name suggests! (“skön” is the Swedish word for “lovely”). Here you can enjoy great swimming, fun times in the playground or relaxing excursions in a rowboat. Looking for an activity that doesn’t involve too much exertion? Why not challenge your family and friends to a round of minigolf? You can rent a bicycle or pedal car when you’re in the mood to explore the wonderful nature in the nearby area, and hiring a rowboat is also a popular way to spend the day, with plenty of good fishing opportunities. The lake is home to an abundance of perch and pike.
Beach and swimming
There are several swimming coves around Skönstavik Camping. Choose between the beach and the rocks.
Boule
Who will be the campsite champion? Most have probably played boule at some time in their life and that is not strange at all because the game really is the ultimate summer activity.
Fishing
You don’t have to go far to experience the joy of fishing. The nearby area offers some great fishing opportunities – please don’t hesitate to ask our helpful reception staff for more information.
Mini golf
The campsite has a miniature golf course, great for everyone in the family. This is a very popular activity, so why not challenge your family or friends to see who becomes champion of the miniature golf course?
Pedal boats
Go for a boat ride and discover your surroundings from the water. The perfect activity if you want to get a workout in during your holiday while enjoying nature at the same time. As much fun for young and old campers alike! Ask at the reception about secret gems that cannot be missed.
Rent a bicycle
Experience the beautiful surroundings by bike. Perfect if you want to go on a fun excursion on your own or with your family. Why not bring a picknick to enjoy in the stunning nature and the open landscape? Rent your bicycle via the campsite activity centre.
Rent a canoe
Are you looking for a great activity for the day? Then why not hire a canoe for a day full of paddling fun with family or friends!
Rowboats
Rent a rowboat and head out towards beautiful views! A relaxing activity for those who want to enjoy the quiet waters. Bring your swimwear and don’t forget the life jacket!
Sauna
Take a deep breath, lean back and enjoy some peace and quiet in the sauna. Spend some time relaxing on your own or in the company of family or good friends. An easy way to make a great day even better, and the perfect tonic for both body and soul!
Wood-fired sauna
Take a deep breath, sit back and enjoy a peaceful moment in our wood-fired sauna. Here, you can relax on your own or share the experience with someone you care about. An easy way to add a little extra to your day – and do something good for both body and soul.
Booking
The sauna can also be used outside our regular opening hours. Bookings are made during opening hours via the reception or through Guest Service, who will also provide information on where to collect the key. It is also possible to book the sauna even if you are not staying at the campsite.
