This is a popular destination, with many returning guests in both the summer and winter periods. The campsite offers a wide range of fun activities during the summer, including workout sessions, our popular Kids Club, evening entertainment and rental of bicycles and pedal cars. You can also hire a minipro segway and glide all the way down to the padel courts, the nearby sandy beaches or the Vindel River for a spot of sport fishing. The camping area is surrounded by lovely exercise trails when you are in the mood for a jog or a relaxing walk. All this, and much more besides, awaits you in beautiful Umeå!
Adventure golf
Adventure golf at First Camp Nydala-Umeå is a popular activity for both families with children and groups of friends. And for the 2021 season, we are breathing new life into the courses with a delightful refresh, so why not play a few rounds on your own, so you are well prepared when it’s time to beat mom, dad, or your friends?

Beach and swimming
At First Camp Nydala-Umeå, one can swim nearby. Our campsite is located near Nydala Lake which has two sandy beaches. The main beach is nearest to the campsite. The smaller beach at Love Park can be reached during a day out.
Bouncy
Kids want to play and have fun on their holiday. At the playground there is a bouncy to jump and play on the whole day. Here the children can bounce around while the parents take a well-deserved rest.
Cross-country skiiing
When the temperature drops below zero and it is time for a winter holiday, we have pleasant tracks and slopes in the area. Put on your thermal underwear to stay warm, fill a thermos with hot chocolate and enjoy the wonderful winter landscape.
Entertainment
Between weeks 27-32, we offer fantastic camping evenings with entertainment several days a week! Sing along, dance, and enjoy a wonderful evening with family and camping neighbors. All activities are included in the price when you book.

Fishing
The area around Umeå offers great opportunities for many types of fishing. Every year the salmon walks to Vindelälven for play and in the coastal areas you will find one of Sweden’s best fishing for large-scale pike. In the lakes, the perchers bump into both summertime and wintertime. Enjoy a quiet time’s nesting fishing from our fishing bridges. Do not hesitate to ask our staff at First Camp Nydala-Umeå for tips!

Padel
Our adventure golf is a popular sport for both children and adults or a group of friends. Why not practice a few rounds on a course, so you can then challenge your mum, dad or your mates?
Pedel car
Hire a pedal car and discover more of the campsite and its beautiful surroundings. A fun activity for adults and children.
Rent a bicycle
Experience the beautiful surroundings by bike. Perfect if you want to go on a fun excursion on your own or with your family. Why not bring a picknick to enjoy in the stunning nature and the open landscape? Rent your bicycle via the campsite activity centre.
Rent a canoe
Are you looking for a great activity for the day? Then why not hire a canoe for a day full of paddling fun with family or friends!
