Terms of Membership

By registering and becoming a member of our customer loyalty programme First Camp Club which is provided and administrated by First Camp Sverige AB and our group companies, referred to jointly as First Camp (”We” or ”Us”), you accept and agree to follow these terms of membership ”Terms of Membership” and confirm that you have read and accept our user conditions for our website and app.

The loyalty programme’s offers apply to bookings of destinations at First Camp’s group companies in Sweden or Denmark, which are provided via our website www.firstcamp.se and the First Camp mobile app.

When you become a member of our loyalty programme First Camp Club, you can take part in promotions, competitions and customer surveys and have access to unique discounts and offers that give you bonus points as a member of First Camp Club.

Membership

If you like camping, you will love First Camp Club. It is our own loyalty programme that gives you bonus points, unique discounts and offers.

Membership of First Camp Club is free and is valid for all destinations in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

You can apply for membership at any time via our First Camp mobile app or website www.firstcamp.se when booking. Download the app at App Store or Google Play. You can also apply for membership by contacting us at reception or our Contact Center. You need to be 18 years of age in order to be a member of First Camp Club. Membership, which is personal and non-transferable, is available to private individuals only.

You need create an account with Us to get access to the Loyalty Programme which is connected to membership of First Camp Club. You agree to provide correct and complete information to Us under all circumstances.

When you log in to your account via the website or app, you will get access to “My Pages” with a personalised content and specific benefits and offers for you.

Benefits, offers and communication

As a member of First Camp Club you receive tailored communication containing information about personal offers and selected general membership offers. You also receive tailored news, recommendations, inspiration, invitations to events and various benefits linked specifically to your membership. As a member of our Loyalty Programme, we think have a legitimate interest in informing you about our offers and more.

We normally communicate by e-mail, SMS, firstcamp.se or other digital communication channel, including ads on social media via cookies (e.g. Facebook) and also in printed form such as magazines or letters. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, you can change your cookie settings by clicking on the round green icon to the left on our website or by sending an e-mail to firstclub@firstcamp.se and clicking on the Unsubscribe link.

Personal data

When you become a member of our loyalty programme we register your name and your contact details, customer number and booking history and information connected to your membership. The purpose of the registration is to allow us to deliver a service to you (membership of our loyalty programme) and the legal ground for the processing of the personal data is a contract. We save your personal data (but not your password) as long as you are a member of our loyalty programme. Fist Camp will not share this information with a third party or transfer personal data outside the EEA unless we are legally obliged to do so.

You are always welcome to contact us if you need more information about what personal data We have registered about you and how We use the data or if any information is incorrect and you wish Us to correct it. How to earn and use bonus points

You earn 1 bonus point per 20 SEK/DKK/NOK in the local currency that you spend on the price of accommodation, camp site or cabin. The bonus points are added on your balance after your visit. Below you will find information about how to earn and use the points in our various booking systems.

As member of First Camp Club you receive:

  • 5 % of the booked accommodation value in points when you book online, the app, by phone or directly on site.
    Example: If you make a booking to the value of SEK 500, you get 25 points.

You can use your bonus points as follows:

  • For bookings at our destinations, either online, by phone and on site at reception.

How to earn and use points online or on the mobile app:

  1. Log in with your details on the website or the app.
  2. Complete the booking and the points will be updated in your account after your visit.
  3. You can also pay for the booking with your earned points.

How to earn and use points for bookings by phone/in reception:

  1. Specify your customer number or the e-mail address that is linked to First Camp Club when you are booking.
  2. When it’s time to pay you can use your earned points.

Terms for First Camp Club points

  • The points you earn are valid for three years. For example, the points you earn during 2022 are saved until the end of 2024 (i.e. until 31 December 2024)
  • You earn points at all our Swedish and Danish destinations, the points are calculated in the same way regardless of the local currency SEK/DKK/NOK you pay in
  • You earn points on all accommodation bookings at the regular price, including cabin, camping bookings, hotel and glamping
  • You can use your earned and saved points to pay for new bookings. Valid at all Swedish, Danish and Norwegian destinations
  • You will automatically be upgraded to the First Camp Gold membership level when you have earned at least 500 points during the year. You will remain a member of First Camp Gold until the turn of the year the following year. For example. if you have earned 500 points in July 2022, you will remain a gold member until the turn of the year 31 December 2023
  • Only bookings made directly with First Camp qualify for points
  • The points are allocated to your account once you have checked out after your stay
  • Points are not awarded on discounted prices, such as monthly and seasonal prices or corporate bookings. If you need to rebook and/or cancel, only valid points are transferred back to your First Camp Club account (expired points cannot be reused) and they keep their original expiry date. Applies only to bookings with Flex.
  • Points are not awarded on discounted offers/campaigns or discount codes
  • Points are not awarded for bookings where check-out took place before active membership (registered & confirmed) in First Camp Club
  • Bookings (accommodation) that are paid for with existing points, or that are partially paid for with existing points, do not qualify for points

Unless otherwise stated by us, membership points can only be used by you personally.

Membership validity and termination

Your membership of First Camp Club applies indefinitely. To terminate your membership, please contact firstclub@firstcamp.se. When you terminate your membership, all personal data that has been collected and processed in order to fulfil these Terms of Membership are erased. Any remaining points become null and void when your membership is terminated.

We reserve the right to change, tempoarily stop or terminate your membership;

i) if you are in breach of these Terms of Membership or our Terms of Use for the website and app, or

ii) if we make changes to or discontinue our loyalty programme.

You agree to immediately inform Us about all unauthorized use of your account for getting access to My Pages. You change or reset your password either at the website under First Camp Club/My pages or via the app.

You do not have the right, either partially or fully, to transfer or any other way dispose of your rights and/or obligations according to these Terms of Membership without prior written approval from Us. In the same way We do not have the right to transfer or any other way dispose of your rights and/or obligations according to these Terms of Membership without prior written approval from you. Without encumbrance of the above, we have the right to transfer our rights and obligations according to these Terms of Membership without your approval to i) any of the First Camp’s affiliated companies or ii) an entity which all which acquires all or virtually all of First Camp’s assets.

If one of our business partners goes into bankruptcy or in any other way is unable to fulfil its undertakings to Us or our members, no retroactive claims can be made. In that case we will establish if and how a booked but unused visit should be transferred back to your account.

Transfer

You authorize Us to transfer, assign or delegate any of our rights and obligations under these Terms of Membership within the First Camp group or owners.

Amendments to Terms of Membership

We may make amendments to the Terms of Membership. You will always be informed before an amended term comes into effect at www.firstcamp.se, in our app or via e-mail. If the amendments are of material significance you will informed before the amendments come into effect and we will also explain the implications of the amendments.

Applicable law and disputes

Disputes regarding these Terms of Membership shall be settled in accordance with Swedish law. Disputes shall be adjudicated by Swedish courts of law.
