Beach and swimming
Holbæk has a cozy city beach with lovely sand. If you get hungry after all the fresh air and wonderful saltwater, there are various dining options, such as a café, restaurant, sandwich bar, and grill, since the city is within walking distance from the beach. There is parking right by the city beach, which is close to Holbæk harbor.
Not far from here is Søbadet Venedig, featuring a 3-meter diving board, water slide, water trampoline, and even a climbing wall. Additionally, there’s the option to swim from the bathing jetty at the marina about 750 meters from the campsite. There is a walking path leading there.
For larger sandy beaches, we recommend a trip to Odsherred (northwest of Holbæk), or Køge Bugt Strandpark.
Bouncy
Come and bounce on our jumping pillow, sure to be a favourite for guests of all ages! (Show caution and make sure children are accompanied by an adult).
Football field
If you love ball games, we have a grass field right outside the campsite. There’s plenty of opportunity to play, for example, rounders or a good football match. Please note that playing is not allowed after 9:00 PM.
Gym
Do you love being able to keep up your workout routine when you are on holiday? At First Camp Holbæk Fjord, you have the opportunity to stay active while you holiday. We know how important it is to keep up with training, and we know that temptations arise during holidays, so that you do not have to take two steps forward and ten back, you can use our fitness machines and our scenic surroundings to maintain the strength and conditioning that you have spent time building up.

If you want a beautiful evening walk, you can experience the most beautiful sunsets at the Golf Course in Ryegård Dyrehave or in the “Sjællandske Alps” near the Brorfelde observatory south of Holbæk.
Hot tub
After a great day of camping, you can treat yourself to a relaxing moment in the wonderful hot tub. Relax and enjoy the heat, recover in a beautiful setting, and regain your energy.
Kids’ Pool
Our youngest campers can splash around in our children’s pool, which is a clear favourite. Here you can splash and play as much as you like, or even practice learning to swim for the first time. No landlubbers here – there are endless opportunities for pool fun!
Swimmingpool
If you are looking for camping with a pool, you found it! Our lovely covered swimming pool has plenty of room to frolic in. Here the water is always temperature controlled and it is absolutely wind-still – so it can’t get any better! The depth in our children’s pool is 30 cm and in the large pool 150 cm. There are sun loungers, tables, and chairs which everyone can freely use. As our guest, we ensure that your experience is top-notch, so you can relax and enjoy your holiday to the fullest.
The hot tub is located right next to the pool area, while the sauna is situated at the far end of the pool and is available free of charge for overnight guests. During busy periods—especially during holiday weeks, weekends, and public holidays—access to the pool area may be limited for day visitors and guests who are not staying overnight or visiting family/friends on site. We therefore recommend contacting us in advance to ensure access to the facilities.
