Beach and swimming
Holbæk has a cozy city beach with lovely sand. If you get hungry after all the fresh air and wonderful saltwater, there are various dining options, such as a café, restaurant, sandwich bar, and grill, since the city is within walking distance from the beach. There is parking right by the city beach, which is close to Holbæk harbor.
Not far from here is Søbadet Venedig, featuring a 3-meter diving board, water slide, water trampoline, and even a climbing wall. Additionally, there’s the option to swim from the bathing jetty at the marina about 750 meters from the campsite. There is a walking path leading there.
For larger sandy beaches, we recommend a trip to Odsherred (northwest of Holbæk), or Køge Bugt Strandpark.

If you want a beautiful evening walk, you can experience the most beautiful sunsets at the Golf Course in Ryegård Dyrehave or in the “Sjællandske Alps” near the Brorfelde observatory south of Holbæk.

Come and bounce on our jumping pillow, sure to be a favourite for guests of all ages! (Show caution and make sure children are accompanied by an adult).
Football field
If you love ball games, we have a grass field right outside the campsite. There’s plenty of opportunity to play, for example, rounders or a good football match. Please note that playing is not allowed after 9:00 PM.
Gym
Do you love being able to keep up your workout routine when you are on holiday? At First Camp Holbæk Fjord, you have the opportunity to stay active while you holiday. We know how important it is to keep up with training, and we know that temptations arise during holidays, so that you do not have to take two steps forward and ten back, you can use our fitness machines and our scenic surroundings to maintain the strength and conditioning that you have spent time building up.

Kid’s Pool
Our youngest campers can splash around in our children’s pool, which is a clear favourite. Here you can splash and play as much as you like, or even practice learning to swim for the first time. No landlubbers here – there are endless opportunities for pool fun!
Playground
Some of the most wonderful experiences and memories are created around the playgrounds at the campsite. It is here that children and parents meet, share experiences, and make friends for life.
Therefore, it is our utmost interest to develop, highlight, and share the playground with our guests!On the large playground, there are several play apparatuses: A big jumping pillow, climbing tower with a slide, balance rope walk, various kinds of swings. Around the playground, there are tables and benches where adults, for example, can enjoy a cup of coffee in peace and quiet while the children play – right at the campsite! In the southernmost corner, for example, there is a small playground with a slide, etc.
We have done everything we can to offer facilities that suit children and childlike souls of all ages and genders, which are user-friendly, fun, and built to meet your child’s needs and activity level. Your camping experience has never been more fun than with a playground like this!Have you tried playing shuffleboard?
A fun game, a bit like curling, but here you are outdoors and if you come on slippery ground, it’s not because of the surface.At the reception, we naturally also help to find activities to suit all needs and desires outside the campsite, if you, for example, want to see a good movie in the nearest cinema or go on a fishing trip, although you will of course never get bored when camping with a playground.
Sauna
Take a deep breath, lean back and enjoy some peace and quiet in the sauna. Spend some time relaxing on your own or in the company of family or good friends. An easy way to make a great day even better, and the perfect tonic for both body and soul!
Swimmingpool
If you are looking for camping with a pool, you found it! Our lovely covered swimming pool has plenty of room to frolic in. Here the water is always heated and it is absolutely wind-still – so it can’t get any better! The depth in our children’s pool is 30 cm and in the large pool 150 cm. There are sun loungers, tables, and chairs which everyone can freely use. As our guest, we ensure that your experience is top-notch, so you can relax and enjoy your holiday to the fullest.

The spa bath is right next to the pool. The sauna is located right at the end of the pool and can be freely used by overnight guests.If we have many staying guests at the site, the facilities may be closed to guests who do not stay at the site or who are not visiting family/friends staying here, especially during the high season, weekends, and holidays. It is therefore always a good idea to call in advance if you would like to use our pool area.
