About 10 minutes from the destination, you’ll find the popular Söderåsen. Not only is it a beautiful place for a walk, but it’s also home to Söderåsen’s Moose Park – highly recommended for families with children and all kinds of visitors. Here, you can go on a guided moose safari and learn many exciting facts about moose. There’s also a small shop where you can grab a coffee or a snack – perfect for a full-day outing!

Just 25 minutes from the campsite is Skåne Zoo – a popular day trip for both kids and adults. Here, you can meet Nordic animals like moose, bears, and lynx in a beautiful natural environment, go on a tractor safari, play in fun playgrounds, and enjoy delicious food at the park. A guaranteed memorable day for the whole family!
If you're into golf, there are many courses near the destination. For example, Svalöv’s golf course (15 km) with an 18-hole course plus an additional 9 holes. Ljungbyhed Golf Club (10 km), Bjuv (20 km), Söderåsen Golf Club, Eslöv (20 km), and more.
At Röstånga Gästgivargård, you can enjoy a lunch or dinner in the saddle bar or a more upscale dinner in the dining room. Want a coffee or something to take with you? We recommend Fenix Konditori just across the road. You’ll also find Röstånga Pizzeria on the main street, and the charming restaurant Stationshuset is also worth a visit.
From Röstånga, you can reach much of Skåne within an hour – perfect for lovely day trips. Some cozy cafés nearby include Lotta på Åsen, famous for her waffles and homemade goods, Gåsepågarna in Bialitt, or Flinkmans Café in Sireköping. You can also enjoy a fika or a meal with a view at Skäralid Restaurant, overlooking Skärdammen and the ravines.
If you're into castles, we recommend visiting Trolleholm Castle, set amidst classic Skåne countryside with rolling fields. Just a stone’s throw away is Trollenäs Castle, featuring an art gallery, gift shop, beautiful park, and a charming café.
Want to mix it up? Spend a day by the sea – it’s just 30–35 minutes to several lovely beaches and even boat excursions. Visit the island of Ven for a day and rent a bike to explore, or take a trip over to Helsingør in Denmark. There are also fishing tours departing from Landskrona/Helsingborg.
Other scenic coastal destinations include Ålabodarna and Rydebäck, both with great beaches. For flower lovers, we recommend Sofiero Castle and Gardens in Helsingborg, or Fredriksdal museums and gardens – also famous for its outdoor theatre.
On rainy days, we often recommend families visit Tropikariet or Leo’s Lekland in Helsingborg. Eslöv’s Toy Museum is also worth a visit with its unique collections. Great indoor shopping centers include Center Syd in Löddeköpinge, Väla in Helsingborg, and Familia in Hyllinge. Along road 110 toward Familia, you’ll also find the excellent caravan dealer Forsbergs Fritidscenter with accessories and workshop. Vinslövs Fritidscenter is another option. If you’re visiting Center Syd, don’t miss Lödde Husvagnar/Husbilar. You’ll also find many antique and flea market shops nearby, along with lovely small farm shops.
