Magnificent views of Lake Storsjön
Forest and wonderful views as far as the eye can see. At Frösön there is plenty to capture your attention. Our campsite is located in the midst of fantastic nature and scenery, with breathtaking views of Lake Storsjön and Östersund. There are many small beaches along Lake Storsjön – perhaps you’ll find your very own little hidden gem? Skating on the lake is a popular activity during winter, often followed by a warming visit to the campsite’s wood-fired sauna. Time to prepare a cleaning roster for the week? Why not challenge the rest of your group to a loser-does-the-cleaning minigolf tournament!
Boule
Who will be the campsite champion? Most have probably played boule at some time in their life and that is not strange at all because the game really is the ultimate summer activity.
Cross-country skiiing
When the temperature drops below zero and it is time for a winter holiday, we have pleasant tracks and slopes in the area. Put on your thermal underwear to stay warm, fill a thermos with hot chocolate and enjoy the wonderful winter landscape.
Hiking trails
Around our destination there is a fantastic nature that you can enjoy. Perfect for those who want to hike or go for a jog.
Mini golf
The holiday favourite mini golf is a popular activity at the campsite. At First Camp Frösön–Östersund, families, groups of friends and colleagues can enjoy our mini golf course together. Create your own tournament, challenge mum and dad, or hit a few balls on your own to improve your mini golf skills. Mini golf is an activity for all ages, and clubs can be rented at the reception.

Younger guests will find plenty to keep them entertained at the campsite playground, where many hours of fun and games are guaranteed!
Rent a bicycle
Experience the beautiful surroundings by bike. Perfect if you want to go on a fun excursion on your own or with your family. Why not bring a picknick to enjoy in the stunning nature and the open landscape? Rent your bicycle via the campsite activity centre.
Wood-fired sauna
Breathe deep, sit back and enjoy a soothing soak in the wood-burning sauna. Spend some time relaxing on your own, or bring someone along for company. This is an easy way to make a great day even better, and it also does the trick for both body and soul!
