Halmstad is a vibrant city and is popular with tourists as it has plenty going on both during the day and night. The city centre is just about a mile from the campsite and easy to get there by public transport. The main square in the heart of Halmstad is where everything happens. The market stalls on the square, the shops along the promenade and outdoor restaurants make up the life in the city. Fresh fish can be bought from the fishery at Österbro. For shopaholics, there are interesting things to be found at Eurostop, Stenalyckan and Flygstaden.
