Hiking trails
In the areas around Lycksele there are many lovely hiking trails to discover. 7 km from Lycksele you will find what is called the Grivetjärnsrundan – a 6.6 km long walking trail that runs through the old-growth forest offering beautiful vistas! Simply enjoy the Norrland nature and the wonderful peace and quiet.
Mårdseleforsen
Mårdseleforsen is a nature reserve located in the Municipality of Lycksele and the Municipality of Vindeln.
The trail is about 1.2 km long and one can walk over suspension bridges to see the power of the rapids up close. There are fireplaces with or without shelters for those who want to cook lunch.

The Lycksele fishing reserve covers a large area offering various watercourses. There is something for everyone. Try some really fun and wonderful fishing in Norrland you too.
