Visit Malmö city

Malmo is probably Sweden’s gateway to Europe and is clearly evident by the multi-cultural atmosphere. Summer activities are in abundance and there is everything from football, hockey and various other sports to high-class exhibitions of modern art, high culture and shopping.

There is a good bus service from the campsite that gets you quickly into central Malmö. You can hire a bike or segway with us and enjoy a day out in Limhamn which is a picturesque village and has a fishing harbour. A ride along the waterfront to the west harbour of Malmö, pass the Turning Torso and into the city center is a nice experience.

Shopping in Malmö

For those who like to bring some extra shopping bags home after the holiday Malmö is the perfect destination. Take a “fika” in one of the city’s cozy cafés during the day and enjoy the charming atmosphere. Malmö offers a great range of stores for both young and old. There are plenty of good shopping areas, Södergatan, Davidshall, the shopping mall Emporia with over 200 stores, Mitt Mölle with the design stores and boutiqes and much more!

With its unique twisted design and height of 190 meters, it is an impressive architectural masterpiece designed by Santiago Calatrava. Its seaside location makes the experience even more remarkable. Around Turning Torso, you’ll find waterfront promenades, swimming spots, restaurants, and cafés – perfect for a stroll with your camera in hand.
