Quaint garden café dating from the 17th century

Welcome to Viborgs Holme, a garden café with local produce and a relaxing atmosphere. The café serves home-made dishes ideal for long, sunny days while on holiday, as well as sandwiches, buns, coffee and freshly squeezed juice. Everything is prepared organically, of course! Take a seat next to the beautiful log cabins that date from the 17th century, or why not relax in a hammock? Apart from this popular café, the campsite also has a facility that serves simpler forms of food, including kids’ favourites such as hot dogs, toasted sandwiches, pancakes and tasty pastries.

Service shop

Here, you can find a smaller selection of groceries such as bread, dairy products, deli meats, drinks, snacks and ice cream, magazines, hygiene products, as well as a number of other practical items. The shop can be found at the same premises as our reception. The shop has a limited inventory in the period from 12 August – 21 June.

Dining

We have some dining options, and you can purchase simple fast food such as sausage with bread or mash, toast, pancakes, coffee and pastries, etc.

Camping accessories

We retail products from Campinggrossisten. Here, you can find a section of chemicals and other products that can be used during your camping stay.

Massarbäck

Massarbäck is the campsite’s neighbour and is just outside our cottage town. At their farm shop, you can find local produce, with an inventory that varies by the season. More information on Massabäck can be found on their Facebook-page.

The lovely garden café at Viborgs Holme, in at Enåbadet – Rättvik, is like a lush oasis. There are no cars here, just lush greenery and pleasant calm. On the island, you can find 10 beautiful log buildings dating from the 17th to the 19th centuries. Seating spots can be found both out on the field and inside the big cottage, as well as in some of the old buildings. A hammock offers a moment of rest for those who would like to relax, and at the porch, you can find books and magazines to borrow or exchange.

There is something for each taste at Viborgs Holme: snacks, chocolate pralines, cardamom and cinnamon buns, Rättvik ice cream and the dessert pie of the day. For the hungry, there are hearty sandwiches and “tuttul” (flatbread rolls). Those who are thirsty can enjoy organic coffee and tea, soda from Mora Bryggeri, apple juice from Mora Musteri, as well as other juices and lemonade.

In the little forest on the island, there is also a fun adventure trail for everyone with a childlike imagination. There are also garden games to borrow, stilts to try, and behind one of the houses, there is a bathing spot with a ladder leading into the water. You can also dock by boat here.
The café is open during the June – August peak season.
