Play golf in Mönsterås
Mönsterås Golf Club’s 9-hole full-length course is located at Högemåla about 300 meters west of E22, easy to find for those who are new to the area. The course is housed in a typical Småland forest woodland. At the golf course there is a driving range with tees from grass, a practice area for chipping and bunkers training and a putting green. The course is locaded only 5 km from the campsite at Oknö.
Oskarshamns Golf Club can be found in Skorpetorp, located 30 km from the campsite in Oknö. Their 18-hole course is top notch and is a park and forest course. There is a restaurant and exercise area.

Fishing
For the angler, the area provides some good fishing spots. Via Mönsterås, both Emån and Alsterån have ample opportunities for both sports and recreational fishing. Also Kalmar is known for its great variety of fish. Rent a boat at First Camp Oknö-Mönsterås and enjoy a fishing trip.

About 1 km from the campsite is an old ferry port where Mönsterås Municipality has erected a beach volleyball court for the summer.
